Chest pain(Anterior chest pain)-1

• The symptom of chest pain is called chest pain.

• Chest pain includes acute, chronic, and recurrent chest pain.

• A sudden heart attack in adults can cause severe chest pain, which can lead to severe suffering or death.

• Parents who have experienced or know this fact sometimes bring their children to the pediatric department, worrying about what may happen to their heart if their young child complains of chest pain.

• Chest pain is actually a symptom that often occurs in children and adolescents, and chest pain can be acute, chronic, or recurrent.

• There are several causes of chest pain.

• Among them, it is common to have chest pain due to a problem with the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, ribs, cartilage, or sternum in the anterior wall of the rib cage or some disease.

• Other pleura (pleura), lungs, heart, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, chest cavity, etc. can cause chest pain.

• Intraperitoneal disease;

• Any disease involving the peripheral nerves in the diaphragm or thoracic cavity can cause chest pain.

• Herpes zoster on the skin and peripheral nerves of the chest can cause chest pain.

• Learn more about chest pain, depending on the cause of it.

Chest pain due to ribs or chest muscles

• This type of chest pain is usually localized as long as there are ribs or chest muscles.

• Rarely, chest pain can be caused by problems with the muscles or ribs throughout the chest.

• Chest pain all over the chest is usually caused by physical exertion.

• This chest pain may worsen with chest movements or physical exertion.

• Chest pain caused by cardiac abnormalities usually makes the heart beat faster and worsens chest pain with physical exercise.

• Chest pain may be caused by rib fractures, skin, subcutaneous tissue, soft tissue in the forearm, or muscle trauma.

• A description thereof will be omitted here.

• Diagnosis is made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Treat according to the cause

• Chest pain should be treated symptomatically with pain relievers such as Tylenol or ibuprofen.

Chest pain due to costochondritis

• Each rib in the pronotum is interconnected with the cartilage corresponding to each rib.

• The costal cartilage joint can become inflamed due to various causes.

• At this time, chest pain usually occurs in the inflamed area.

• There is no swelling in the area where chest pain occurs, and the degree of chest pain is mild to moderate.

• You are more likely to experience chest pain during or immediately after a viral infection or after exercising.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Treat symptomatically with Tylenol or ibuprofen.

Chest pain due to Tietze syndrome

• Chest pain that occurs in the area where the second and third ribs of the pronotum and the corresponding rib cartilage are connected.

• It usually occurs only on one side, and the skin in that area is normal.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Treat symptomatically with Tylenol or ibuprofen.

Chest pain due to precordial catch

• This chest pain can occur intermittently and usually occurs in the chest wall just in front of the heart.

• The cause of the chest pain is unknown.

• This chest pain can be sudden and severe, and it is common for chest pain to occur intermittently, lasting 30 seconds to 30 minutes, then disappearing and reappearing. • It can happen when you’re not doing any physical exercise and it can be worse when you’re breathing deeply.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Treat symptomatically with Tylenol or ibuprofen.

Chest pain due to asthma

• When you do physical exercise Physical exercise can trigger an asthma attack and chest pain can be a symptom of that asthma attack. This type of asthma is called physical exercise-induced asthma.

• This chest pain is common in children with asthma.

• Asthma is the most common cause of chest pain among children and adolescents.

• When you have chest pain due to asthma, your chest feels tight and the inside of your sternum may hurt more.

• This type of chest pain may recur during chronic coughing or in children and adolescents with chronic asthma.

• Chest pain is more likely to occur in the upper abdomen or in the area where the ribs on the bottom of the pronotum and the upper part of the abdomen join together.

• Chest pain can be severe suddenly or when you exercise while running or walking.

• Being physically stable may reduce the chest pain.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Treat asthma appropriately and, if necessary, symptomatic treatment with Tylenol or ivprofen.

Chest pain due to Pneumonia Or Pleurisy

• See Pneumonia and Pleurisy.

Chest pain due to gastrointestinal diseases

• Chest pain may occur when there is esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux disease.

• This type of chest pain can be chronic and recurrent.

• You may experience chest pain when you run vigorously after eating or do any other physical activity.

• Chest pain may occur in the inner part of the sternum or in the chest wall in the front part of the heart.

• It is usually worse after eating, or worse when you press the abdomen with your hand.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptoms, and examination findings.

• Chest pain and symptoms may be relieved if esophagitis or gastroesophageal reflux is properly treated and, if necessary, treated with antacids or H2 blockers.

Chest pain due to cardiovascular diseases

• Heart-related chest pain in children and adolescents is very rare.

• Chest pain can occur when the coronary arteries of the heart are blocked by ventricular hypertrophy, Kawasaki disease, or other acquired conditions.

• This chest pain is intermittent and usually lessens or goes away when you are at rest and gets worse when you exercise.

• It is usually accompanied by symptoms such as anemia, headache, and dizziness.

• In addition, chest pain may occur due to pericarditis, congenital mitral valve prolapse, pulmonary stenosis, aortic valve stenosis, familial lipoprotein metabolism abnormality, and supraventricular tachycardia.

• Diagnosis can be made by combining medical history, symptom signs, and examination findings.

• Treat according to the cause.

Chest pain due to psychological problem

• Chest pain caused by psychological problems is quite common.

• The death of a family member or friend, or the separation or divorce of a parent, a failure, or physical disability can cause chest pain and anxiety.

• It can be caused by hysteria, conversion reaction, and false illness (death).

• Diagnosis and treatment differ depending on the cause.

The following is an example of Q&A for health counseling for children and adolescents on the Internet about “chest pain, chest pain, rib pain”.

Q&A. chest pain, chest pain, rib pain

Q. My 5 year old daughter says her ribs hurt. She is 5 years old and she was born in February, so she is much taller and heavier than her peers. She is currently receiving treatment for sinusitis with oriental medicine.

When I catch a cold, the tonsils swell well, and I have a lot of phlegm and cough due to sinusitis, and I have been suffering for several months.. But after a few days, he said that his right rib hurts. There were times when I was sick and brought it with me. She says she is sick sometimes, but I’m worried about something else, so I’m asking this question.

A. I’m curious Good morning. Thank you for asking a question. Detailed information such as the child’s age, gender, past and family medical history, examination findings, and clinical test results will be very helpful in providing an answer.

We will respond based on the information you have provided. When you say “I have a sore rib,” there are many causes of a sore rib (see Chest Pain). When we say “I have a pain in my ribs”, the word “pain in the ribs” is often used interchangeably with the word “chest pain” (chest pain). So, the word chest pain here means chest pain and rib pain with the same meaning, sometimes in different words.

If you have chest pain, it is important to look at the structure of your chest. The chest wall is formed by the skin layer, subcutaneous layer, muscle layer, ribs (ribs), cartilage attached to the ribs, wall pleura, pleural space (pleural space), and pulmonary pleura.

Chest pain can occur when there is something wrong with the large and small venous blood vessels, large and small arteries, or coronary arteries. In addition, chest pain may also occur due to intra-abdominal abnormalities, diaphragmatic abnormalities, mental abnormalities, peripheral nerve abnormalities, systemic infectious diseases or local infectious diseases. If a heart attack occurs suddenly in adults, it can cause severe chest pain.

A heart attack can lead to severe suffering or death. Parents who have had this experience or know such information often go to the hospital, worrying about what may be wrong with their heart when their young child complains of chest pain. Chest pain is actually one of the most common symptoms in children and adolescents.

Chest pain can be acute, chronic, or recurrent. According to the causes of chest pain, we will classify them as follows. Chest pain-1 Chest pain-part 1 leads to Chest pain-2 Chest pain-part 2.
