I am honored to bring this website, Parents Should Be At Least the Half-Doctors-Volume 8 of 25 volume Encyclopedia of Pediatric and Family Home  Nursing Care on the Children and Adolescent Respiratory Diseases website, to 80 million Korean people around the world, and 70 billion people around the world.

This is the revised and supplemented edition of the encyclopedia Volume 8 Respiratory Diseases.

The nostrils, nasal passages, sinuses, adenoids, tonsils, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, lungs, and pleura belong to the respiratory system.

Diseases that occur in the respiratory system are called respiratory diseases and diseases that occur in the respiratory system of children and adolescents (0-18 years old) are called pediatric respiratory diseases. “Volume 8 Respiratory Diseases in Children and Adolescents” is written by me who has the author’s 40 years of experience in treating various diseases of children and adolescents at the forefront of pediatric care, pediatric science textbooks, journals, and pediatric respiratory diseases obtained from training and education in pediatrics.

This is a website that makes it easy for readers to understand the respiratory diseases of adolescent children.

Some diseases of the airways such as the nasal cavity, sinuses, adenoids, tonsils, pharynx, and larynx are also dealt with by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, and some diseases of the nasal cavity, sinuses, adenoids, tonsils, pharynx, larynx, trachea, and lungs are also dealt with by the Department of Allergy. Except in special cases, in general, most of the “respiratory diseases” of children and adolescents are primarily treated by pediatricians in the Department of Pediatrics.

Various pathogens, such as viruses and bacteria, infect the upper and lower respiratory tract and can easily get various viral and bacterial infections.
