신생아 종격동 기종(신생아 기종격증), Neonatal pneumomediastinum
- 신생아 종격동에 공기, 또는 기체가 존재하는 것을 신생아 종격동 기종, 신생아 종격동 기흉 또는 신생아 기종격증이라 한다.
- 종격동 기종은 남녀노소 누구에게나 생길 수 있다.
- 여기서는 신생아에게 생기는 신생아 종격동 기종에 관해 설명한다.
신생아 종격동 기종의 원인
- 미숙아, 과대히 확장된 신생아의 폐기포가 터질 때, 심폐 소생술 응급 처치를 받을 때, 태변 흡인증, 유리질막증, 폐렴, 폐기종, 또는 폐낭종이 터질 때 기흉과 같이 생길 수 있고 때로는 이유를 알 수 없이 자연적으로 생긴다.
신생아 종격동 기종의 증상 징후
- 아무 증상 징후도 없을 수 있고 원인되는 병에 따라 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다.
- 종격동 기종이 심할 때는 호흡곤란이 생길 수 있고 먹는 것이 시원치 않고 목에 있는 정맥 혈관이 확장될 수 있고 피하층 속에 공기가 차 있을 수 있다.
신생아 종격동 기종의 진단
- 증상 징후, 진찰, 가슴 X선 사진 검사 등으로 진단한다.
신생아 종격동 기종의 치료
- 원인과 정도에 따라 치료한다.
- 정도가 작고 증상이 없는 종격동 기종은 관찰 치료를 한다.
Neonatal pneumomediastinum
• The presence of air or gas in the neonatal mediastinum is called neonatal mediastinal emphysema, neonatal mediastinal pneumothorax, or neonatal emphysema.
• Mediastinal emphysema can occur in anyone, young or old.
• This section describes neonatal mediastinal emphysema in newborns.
Causes of neonatal mediastinal emphysema
• Pneumothorax in premature infants, over dilated newborns, when alveolar ruptures, when receiving first aid for CPR, meconium aspiration, vitrectomy, pneumonia, emphysema, or pulmonary cysts can occur, such as pneumothorax, and sometimes for unknown reasons occurs naturally without Symptomatic
Signs, Symptoms of neonatal mediastinal emphysema
• There may be no symptoms or symptoms, depending on the cause of the disease.
• When the mediastinal emphysema is severe, breathing difficulties may occur, eating may not be pleasant, the veins in the neck may dilate, and the subcutaneous layer may be filled with air.
Diagnosis of neonatal mediastinal emphysema
• Diagnosis is made by symptomatic signs, examination, and chest X-ray examination.
Treatment of neonatal mediastinal emphysema
• Treatment depends on the cause and severity.
• Small and asymptomatic mediastinal emphysema should be treated observationally.
